PRIDE

For a colorful world

BNP Paribas PRIDE

In July 2017, PRIDE Germany was launched – an employee network within the BNP Paribas Group in Germany, which brings together employees regardless of their sexual orientation or identity.

PRIDE Germany stands for solidarity and cohesion. We want a working environment that is characterized by acceptance and openness. Here we can develop freely and be ourselves without having to worry about prejudice or discrimination.

“Diversity is not a side issue for us, but part of our corporate culture. With the PRIDE community, we are creating spaces where queer employees and allies can connect, strengthen each other, and promote visibility for gender and sexual diversity.”

JASMIN BÜCHNER, CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER GERMANY

What we stand for as BNP Paribas

We are united by working in an appreciative environment where everyone is respected and there is simply no place for discrimination. Value-based teamwork plays a major role in this.

We know that diversity makes us better because diversity enriches perspectives. That is why we are consciously committed to more heterogeneity in the teams, even if we still have some way to go despite consistent efforts – and undoubtedly also achievements. As individuals, as companies and as a society.

We are consciously involved in networks in order to constantly improve as a learning organization and, above all, to tap into target groups that have so far been underrepresented in our ranks. We understand diversity management holistically, i.e. all dimensions and their interaction (intersectionality):
